This victory marks the second time in a row that Canada has won the Pan American Cup and the first time in history that they have won the tournament without dropping a single game!

Finally, Dong Adam and Nyl Yakura sealed the deal for Canada by winning 21-18, 21-17 against Vinson Chiu and Joshua Yuan.

Canada had started their journey in Group A with Ecuador and El Salvador while the USA was in Group B with Mexico and Argentina. Canada and the USA both received a bye in the quarterfinals as the top two teams from each group advanced to the quarterfinals. Canada swept past Mexico 3-0 in the semifinals, while the USA faced a tough challenge from Brazil, which they eventually won 3-1.
