Are you tired of constantly having to redo your badminton grip due to residue or damage to the stock grip tape underneath? Look no further, because we’ve stumbled upon a game-changing gripping technique that will revolutionize the way you wrap your handle.
According to Yonex instructions, the traditional method is to use the small sticky part of the grip at the bottom of the handle and work your way up to the shaft. But what if we told you there’s a better way?
Recently, we came across an Instagram video showcasing a pre-cut grip method where the player starts with a square, non-sticky end of the tape and works their way up the handle, ending on the small sticky part. Not only does this make it easier to secure the top of the grip, but it also eliminates the risk of damaging the stock grip tape underneath.

However, some may be hesitant to try this method, as they fear the bottom of the grip may unwrap without proper attachment outside of the wrapping.
That’s why we want to hear from you, our readers! What’s your preferred gripping technique and are you considering changing things up? Let us know in the comments below!
